Women Riders World Relay

Calling female riders worldwide!

Hayley Bell, member of WIMA GB, has started a movement on Facebook called Women Riders World Relay (WRWR) with the purpose of raising awareness of how many female riders we are in the world. The aim is that by being visible, the motorcycle industry will better cater for our needs.

In her own words: “We co-ordinate women motorcycle riders across the world to participate in a Women Riders World Relay, brining fun, experience, confidence and a sense of unity to women riders globally”.

As the international president of WIMA, I’m thrilled to follow the progress and help spread the word and make history by taking part in the first global female relay. For more information please join the WRWR Facebook group or check twitter or Instagram. There is also an e-mail address:

In only 4 weeks the WRWR Facebook group has reached 8000 members – let’s see how many we can get! Please share this information with all female riders you know, register and get ready to pick up the baton when the relay passes through your area – this is going to be lots of fun! Estimated start from England is spring 2018.

Best wishes,

Åsa, International President of WIMA
