✨As of 1 September, we are thrilled to welcome WIMA Spain as our newest national division!✨
Spain’s breathtaking roads, vibrant motorcycling culture, and strong women‑rider community make it the perfect home for a new WIMA division. This is a moment we’ve been eagerly awaiting — and we’re delighted it has finally arrived.
WIMA Spain is founded by Emma Vinyes, a well‑known community builder and the creator of Moteras con Pistones, a project dedicated to empowering and connecting women motorcyclists across Spain. Her work in events, communication, and female visibility in motorcycling has already made a meaningful impact, and she now brings that experience into WIMA.
On the good news of the acceptance of their proposal Emma says (in English below):
“Me siento verdaderamente honrada y muy feliz de dar la bienvenida a WIMA España a la familia internacional de WIMA. Es una gran responsabilidad, pero también una oportunidad muy emocionante para construir una comunidad sólida de mujeres moteras en España y contribuir al crecimiento de WIMA a nivel internacional”.
“I feel truly honoured and very happy to welcome WIMA Spain to the international WIMA family. It is a great responsibility, but also a very exciting opportunity to build a strong community of female motorcyclists in Spain and contribute to WIMA’s growth on an international level”.
“Estamos muy ilusionadas con este nuevo capítulo y con formar parte de la comunidad internacional de WIMA. Tengo muchas ganas de trabajar juntas, aprender de las demás divisiones nacionales y ayudar a que WIMA España crezca con un espíritu fuerte, inclusivo y unido.”.
“We are very excited about this new chapter and about becoming part of the international WIMA community. I am really looking forward to working together, learning from the other national divisions and helping WIMA Spain to grow in a spirit of strength, inclusivity and unity”.
Emma has a gathered a diverse group of women who will help her build the division. Shortly there will be a introduction of them in the National Divisions section. Stay tuned for that!
