Have you ever wondered what you would actually do if you were the first person to arrive at a traffic accident? And more importantly, how long has it been since you last thought about it? It’s one of those skills we all think we have but rarely use.
That’s why WIMA Thailand recently organized a Motorcycle First Aid Training in Bangkok, bringing together riders from several motorcycle communities, including WIMA Thailand, WRWR (Women Riders World Relay), and TIB (Thailand International Bikers).
The course focused on real motorcycle accident scenarios and covered CPR, AED use, Stop The Bleed, and trauma-focused first aid. Through practical, hands-on training, participants learned how to respond effectively during the critical first minutes before emergency services arrive.
The event highlighted the importance of rider education, preparedness, and cooperation within the motorcycle community. While we hope these skills are never needed, knowing how to help an injured rider can make a significant difference in an emergency.
