Ellen Pfeiffer Award recipient in 2025
This is the Ellen Pfeiffer Award nomination that was submitted by WIMA Germany, prepared by Susi Metzner – NP WIMA Germany :
WIMA Germany would like to propose Verena for this year’s Ellen-Pfeiffer Award. Verena has dedicated over 18 years as President of WIMA Germany, significantly contributing to strengthening our community and representing us externally.
During her tenure, she represented the club at international events, was present at nearly every rally, and always had an open ear for the concerns of our fellow members.
Her approachable nature and tireless dedication have left a lasting impact on our organisation and have fostered a closer sense of community among us.
Even after her official term, she continued to serve as an officeholder (Funktionsträgerin) for WIMA Germany, which underscores her ongoing commitment and connection to the organisation.
She continued to engage by sending birthday greetings to all women via email — a heartfelt gesture that exemplifies her care for our community.
Her energy, passion, and heartfelt involvement have left indelible marks on our club. I am convinced that Verena’s long-standing commitment, her inspiration, and her role as a “Funktionsträgerin” make her a truly worthy recipient of the Ellen-Pfeiffer Award.
She has consistently gone above and beyond for our community and is a valuable ambassador for us all.
