About WIMA Thailand
In 2025 we saw WIMA Thailand reborn under an initiative from Natalya Kalinichenko.
“Hi, my nickname is Wonder and I’m originally from Ukraine but have lived in Thailand since 2004. I started riding in 2012 on a Vespa 150cc, exploring Thailand one small road at a time. In 2020, I upgraded to a Honda Rebel 500 and have been active in various riding communities and groups across Thailand.
Riding with these communities over the past five years has given me not only incredible experiences but also, a strong sense of belonging. I regularly take part in charity rides, long-distance trips, and road challenges – and always with my dog as my co-pilot, Sophie.
I’m proud to represent WIMA Thailand and excited to help bring more visibility and support to women riders here. My hope is to connect women motorcyclists across Thailand and beyond, and to show that the road truly belongs to everyone.”
WIMA Thailand, 2013-2021
WIMA Thailand’ s founder and first National President, Penlada Krutkosa, started the division in 2013 with members from all over Thailand. Today there are a lot of women who ride motorcycles in Thailand both for essential transport and for leisure, with their numbers increasing all the time. Members ride a variety of bikes (sport, off-roading, touring & cruiser) and they hold at least one official group activity per year at which they ride and travel together. The division closed in 2021.
