About WIMA Pakistan
WIMA Pakistan was founded in 2020 by Guliafshan Tariq as a way of uniting and empowering Pakistani women though motorcycling. WIMA provides a platform to connect with women riders from different countries and backgrounds and although we have very limited resources in Pakistan, joining WIMA will eventually open our doors to the international world. We will be able to learn everyday skills, such as how to ride safely, how to pack smartly, and get opportunities to listen to the stories of brave women who travel across the globe.

Through WIMA Pakistan, girls from Pakistan will get a platform to share their own stories and be able to get guidance for their international plans – a motivation and inspiration to break stereotypes and be able to join international rallies and events.
In Pakistan, female motorcyclists still face challenges; it is not safe to travel as a woman alone in Pakistan due to the conservative and traditional thinking of men. In Pakistan, where women can face a lot of criticism from their family and friends for going to university or even buying groceries, it is very challenging when they decided to learn to ride bikes. It is unusual for women to ride bikes on the streets but now the situation is changing; we’ve started doing rides on weekends and rallies and touring trips to the north and south of Pakistan. Here the most common bikes are typically smaller bikes such as the 70cc Honda, the 125cc Yamaha and the 125cc Suzuki.

WIMA Pakistan hosts all sorts of motorbike-related activities:
- weekend rides within cities
- long tours across Pakistan
- safety courses
- motivational speeches
- TV shows participations
