About WIMA India
Namaste from the land of colours and diversity! As WIMA India, it is our endeavour to provide a non-discriminatory and impartial platform to women motorcyclists in the country, irrespective of their caste, creed or the bikes they ride. Our aim is to build a community of women riders who respect and support each other. We will always encourage women from different groups and associations to join WIMA India and be a part of the global community. Our motto, which also stands true for our magnificent country is ‘Unity in Diversity.’
True to our motto, we engage in a wide range of activities through our love for riding. We’ve done rides to promote tourism and local arts and crafts. We’ve also visited colleges to create an awareness of ‘travel to impact’, an initiative to help more girls feel more confident to travel. Before the pandemic, we held a very successful national rally where our members could spend time together and make new contacts, but due to current pandemic travel restrictions we have not been able to host another rally yet.

I’m a travel enthusiast and an avid motorcyclist. I work as a motorcycle tour leader with ‘Two Wheeled Expeditions’ and do tours in India and Nepal. I’m also a certified group fitness instructor.
