About WIMA Hungary

The Hungarian division of WIMA was officially formed at the international rally in 2011.

‘Whether on track at the Hungaroring, racing, long and short tours, we have developed a great camaraderie between us. At that time we were members of a small female motorcycle club.’ wrote National President Emese Melicher.

The aims of the club and its members were to promote the culture of safe motorcycle riding, to recruit members across the country with a shared interest in motorcycling, to promote women in motorsport, to organise events, support both new and young riders, as well as those that have been biking for years and support the activities of WIMA internationally. The division was closed down due to most of the members having less time due to babies and small children. They organised the International Rally in 2016.
