About WIMA Canada
Canada President Sue Bossley participated in the Women Riders World Relay, riding the Canadian and African legs. Her involvement inspired her to join WIMA. Recognizing the absence of a Canadian WIMA chapter, she took the initiative to help bring this empowering community and international sisterhood to Canada. She has gathered together a team of like-minded motorcycling women in the diverse provinces and territories and has plans to spread the message of WIMA across this vast country.
Back in the early days, WIMA members in Canada were part of the mother division, as we can see in the membership records on the HERitage page. Later there have been two earlier atempts to get a division started in Canada, firstly by Dianne Best and Angela Griffin in 2016 and later, following WRWR in 2019, by Maria O’Reilly.
